Dixon Crossing build-to-suit warehouse spanning over 500,000 square feet, dedicated to dry storage for GE appliances. The facility features an impressive array of 122 active dock doors, equipped with hydraulic truck locks and pneumatic dock levelers to enhance loading efficiency. Given the building’s extensive length of over 1,100 feet, careful planning was essential to ensure the effective distribution of power throughout the warehouse. Moreover, both the office space and warehouse areas were equipped with a state-of-the-art Voice Evacuation Fire Alarm system for advanced safety. The utility power to the building introduced additional complexities, necessitating meticulous coordination to temporarily shut down an existing 24-hour facility. This was crucial for integrating a new utility vault that would power the new building.
