Parking Structure 5 at CSUS has been architecturally crafted to harmonize with the surrounding environment. This innovative, six-level structure, boasting 1,750 parking stalls, serves as a replacement for a former surface lot on the campus grounds. Leveraging the rapid construction capabilities of precast technology, the project was ambitiously completed within a single academic semester. Its design and technological advancements, coupled with focused efforts in placemaking and conservation, have earned Parking Structure 5 the prestigious Parksmart Gold certification from the Green Building Certification Institute on behalf of the U.S. Green Building Council. This accolade distinguishes it as the most environmentally sustainable and efficiently designed parking facility on the campus.
